Social Studies

The study of the social sciences requires the immersion into history, geography, philosophy, economics, governmental practices, sociology, psychology, and anthropology. Ultimately, the goal of devoting time and effort into these disciplines is one thing: to understand human interaction. How do humans relate and what are the consequences of those interactions?

By participating in the social studies courses at Cocalico, students will expand their cultural knowledge, as well as develop the critical thinking and reasoning skills to become productive members of their community, country, and ever interconnecting world.
