SAT

The SAT test is focused on the skills and knowledge at the heart of education. It measures 1) what you learn in high school; and 2) what you need to succeed in college

The same habits and choices that lead to success in school will help you get ready for the SAT. The best way to prepare for the test is to take challenging courses, do your homework, prepare for tests and quizzes, and ask/answer lots of questions.

The reading portion measures a range of reading skills including: command of evidence, words in context, and analysis in history/social studies and science. The writing and language portion requires test takers to read, find mistakes and weaknesses, and fix them. The math portion of the exam consists of algebra, problem solving and data analysis, complex equations, and
may also include additional topics in math the likes of which come from geometry, trigonometry, radian measure, and complex numbers.

test dates, testing centers, and fees click on the link below to visit the official SAT /College Board website. Students will register for SAT’s on this site by first creating a free account. Be sure to write down the username and password you choose and keep it in a secure location where you will remember it.

The SAT registration fee for the 2022-23 school year is $60.
